I'm Mark, an Irish web developer living in Liverpool, with a genuine love for helping people. After graduating in Software Development, I stepped away from the office world and took a completely different path, managing and cooking at a popular fish & chip shop. It was during this time that I discovered how much I enjoy helping others with their digital needs.
After taking on the challenge of making a website for the shop, I began dedicating my free time to web development, aiming to start a small business that could make digital services more accessible to those who might find them daunting. Along the way, I found myself also creating logos and graphics for friends and business owners — a creative process that turned out to be both enjoyable and fulfilling. As a result, RigneyMade expanded to include logo design, bringing brands to life with both form and function.

Web Design
Before any code is written, we start with a visual design phase following in-depth discussions about your website's core functionality. Using Figma, I create mockups for both desktop and mobile layouts, along with a visual style guide—covering colors, fonts, and overall aesthetics—to ensure a cohesive and consistent look across the entire design.
Web Development
I develop in an Ubuntu OS environment, using essential tools like VS Code, Git, and GitHub. After finalizing the design, I start coding with frameworks such as React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS. For efficient UI creation, I sometimes incorporate component libraries like shadcn/ui to ensure a responsive and visually engaging interface.
Logo Design
For logo design, I begin with Procreate for sketching initial ideas. Once the direction is clear, I use Inkscape to refine and develop the design, exploring font combinations, graphics, and color schemes. This process produces polished, scalable vector designs ready for any application. GIMP is used for tasks such as creating mockups, fine-tuning details, and making adjustments, ensuring the final logo is both visually striking and versatile for real-world use.
